The common name for the Kamimachi Plateau, east of the Higashiyokobori River, in the center of Osaka City. During the Edo period, there were many concubines' houses.

One of the town names in the former Shimabara red-light district in Kyoto. One of the Misuji-cho districts. The southeast corner of the red-light district, south of Nakanomachi.
