Clytostoma
It is an evergreen climbing shrub of the Bignoniaceae family. Its leaves are opposite, with the leaflets at the top forming long, thin whiskers that grow around other objects. Its flowers are funnel-shaped and grow in axillary or terminal panicles. Eight species are found in South America, and it is sometimes included in the Bignonia genus. It prefers warm climates, and some species are cultivated for decorative purposes. C. callistegioides (Cham.) Buv. (Japanese name: Hariminouzen) is an evergreen climbing shrub native to southern Brazil and Argentina, and can grow to a length of several meters.

ノウゼンカズラ科クリトストマ属のつる性常緑低木。葉は対生し,頂部の小葉片が細長いひげとなり,他の物体にからみ伸長する。花は漏斗状で,腋生(えきせい)か頂生の円錐花序につく。南アメリカに8種を産し,ツリガネカズラ属Bignoniaに含められることもある。温暖を好み,観賞用に栽植される種がある。クリトストマ・カルリステギオイデスC.callistegioides (Cham.) Buv.(和名ハリミノウゼン)はブラジル南部,アルゼンチン原産のつる性の常緑低木で,長さ数mに伸びる。
