A town in Sennan County in the southern part of Osaka Prefecture. It belongs to the Senshu Textile Industrial Zone and is known for towel manufacturing. The production and spinning of cotton cloth, hosiery, and socks is also thriving. Rice is cultivated using reservoir irrigation, and the town also cultivates its specialty onions.
