Japanese: 魚山蠆芥集 - ぎょさんたいがいしゅう

A collection of Shingon Shomyo (chanting) songs. Abbreviated as Gyozanshu. Title: Gyozan Shisho. Gyozan means chanting, 蠆 means thorns or small things, and 芥 means dirt, and the whole collection is interpreted as a collection of songs that includes many chantings. It is a basic collection of Shingon Shomyo songs, but at the same time, all the songs included are accompanied by musical scores (Fuhakase) specific to Shomyo, as well as notes on chanting and oral traditions, making it a textbook for students of Shomyo. Each volume is made up of three volumes, with the first volume containing Shika Hoyo songs, the middle volume containing Mandala Kuyo songs, and the bottom volume containing various hymns.

真言声明（しようみよう）の曲集。略称《魚山集》。内題《魚山私鈔》。〈魚山〉は声明，〈蠆〉はとげ，またはこまごましたこと，〈芥〉はあくたを意味し，全体で多数の声明を載せた曲集の意に解されている。真言声明の基本的な曲集であるが，同時に収載の全曲には声明固有の楽譜(譜博士)とともに唱法上の諸注意や口伝などが記されていて，声明学習者のための教則本的性格を備えている。上･中･下の3巻を一帖として上巻には四箇（しか）法要曲を，中巻には曼荼(陀)羅供曲を，下巻には諸讃類を収めている。
