A collection of Tendai chanting songs. It has titles such as Gyozan Kenmitsu Shomyo Shuryakuhon, Gyozan Shuryaku (hon), Gyozan Rokukanjo, Rokukanjo, and Shomyoshu. In 1172 (Joan 2) or 1173, Ryonin's disciple Kekan selected a collection of chanting songs to teach Emperor Goshirakawa. Later, a collection of six volumes (six chapters) of commonly used pieces was compiled from this collection, and this became the basic collection of Tendai chanting songs, commonly known as the Rokukanjo. The first edition was published by Kenshin (?-1683), but the circumstances surrounding the process from Kekan to this edition remain unclear.
