Takane Town, Kitakoma District, Yamanashi Prefecture (now Hokuto City), is a plateau at an altitude of 900 to 1,500 meters on the southeastern foot of the Yatsugatake Mountains. The area was an agricultural region called Nenbagahara that was developed after the war, but it has become a resort and sightseeing spot with Kiyosato Station on the Koumi Line as the center. There are many company and school dormitories and lodges, and it is also the entrance to Utsukushino Mori, a famous azalea viewing spot. → Related topics Kobuchizawa [town] | Takane [town] Source : Heibonsha Encyclopedia About MyPedia Information |
