Kiyosato Plateau

Japanese: 清里高原 - きよさとこうげん

Takane Town, Kitakoma District, Yamanashi Prefecture (now Hokuto City), is a plateau at an altitude of 900 to 1,500 meters on the southeastern foot of the Yatsugatake Mountains. The area was an agricultural region called Nenbagahara that was developed after the war, but it has become a resort and sightseeing spot with Kiyosato Station on the Koumi Line as the center. There are many company and school dormitories and lodges, and it is also the entrance to Utsukushino Mori, a famous azalea viewing spot.

山梨県北巨摩(きたこま)郡高根町（現・北杜市），八ヶ岳南東麓の標高900〜1500mの高原。一帯は戦後開拓された念場ヶ原と呼ぶ農業地域であるが，小海線清里駅を中心に保養地，行楽地となった。会社や学校の寮，ロッジが多く，ツツジの名所美しの森の入口でもある。
