This is a measuring instrument that measures the quality factor Q of a coil at high frequencies. If the resistance of the coil is R , the frequency is f , and the inductance is L , then Q can be expressed as Q = 2π fL / R. Using the circuit in the figure, connect the coil to be measured ( R , L ) to the 1-1' terminals. A constant voltage is supplied to the low resistance R0 using an oscillator (OSC) and a thermoelectric ammeter (M). If the capacitance C of the capacitor is changed, resonance will occur when (2π f ) ² Lc = 1, and the current flowing through the coil will be at its maximum, and at the same time the terminal voltage of C will be at its maximum _.

高周波におけるコイルの品質係数Qを測定する測定器をいう。コイルの抵抗をR，周波数をf，インダクタンスをLとすると，Q＝2πfL/Rで表すことができる。図の回路を用い，1‐1′端子に測定しようとするコイル(R,L)を接続する。発振器(OSC)と熱電形電流計(M)を用いて一定電圧を低抵抗R₀に供給する。コンデンサーの静電容量Cを変化させれば(2πf)²Lc＝1のときに共振しコイルを流れる電流が最大，同時にCの端子電圧が最大となる。
