A'nyêmaqên [Mountain Range] (English spelling)

Japanese: アニエマチェン[山脈]（英語表記）A’nyêmaqên

Located in the southeastern part of Qinghai Province, China, this is a branch of the Eastern Kunlun Mountains that stretches from northwest to southeast. It is about 400 km long. In Tibetan, it means "Great Ancestor God" and is also called Amnemachin or the Stone-piled Mountains. It consists of more than 10 mountain peaks, the main peak being Machenganri (Maqinggangri), or Aniemachen Peak, or Ma Snow Mountain, with an altitude of 6,282 m. Glaciers and U-shaped valleys have developed here. The Yellow River makes a large 360-degree detour around the southeastern end of the mountain range, but in the "Yu Gong," this area, the Stone-piled Mountains, is said to be the source of the river.

中国，青海省南東部にあり，北西から南東へのびる東崑崙（こんろん）山脈の支脈。全長約400km。チベット語で〈祖先の大神〉の意があり，アムネマチン，積石（しせき）山脈ともいう。10余の山峰からなり，主峰はマチェンガンリ(瑪卿崗日)すなわちアニエマチェン峰，瑪積雪山で標高6282m。氷河やU字谷が発達している。黄河は山脈の南東端を大きく360度迂回しているが，《禹貢》では，この地域，積石山が河源とされた。
