A city in southwestern Montana, USA. Its growth began in 1884 when Marcus Daly built a copper smelter on the banks of the Warm Springs River. The smelter was the largest in the world, with a 178m-tall chimney dominating the surrounding area, but it closed in 1980, causing 25% of the city's workforce to lose their jobs.
