An independent temple in Bamba, Otsu City , Shiga Prefecture. Formerly of the Tendaijimon sect. The mountain name is Gizan. It is said that in 1553 ( Tenbun 22 ), Sasaki Takayori, the guardian of Omi Province, built this temple on the spot where Kiso Yoshinaka was killed.
