Gujar tribe

Japanese: グージャル族 - ぐーじゃるぞく
Gujar tribe

...the name of an ancient Indian tribe. They are believed to have entered western India from Central Asia around the 5th century with the Huns (Hephthalites) and others, settled there, and then Indianized, but many historians disagree and advocate that they were indigenous. They became powerful in the mid-6th century, and called themselves Kshatriyas (Rajputs), establishing several kingdoms throughout western India. The Pratihara dynasty, which belonged to this tribe and rose in the Malwa region in the first half of the 8th century, advanced into the Ganga River basin in the early 9th century, moved its capital to Kanauj, and established a large kingdom in northern India (lasting until the beginning of the 11th century).
