A kingdom in central Arabia in the 5th and 6th centuries. A part of the Kinda tribe from the Hadramaut region of southern Arabia migrated northward and united with the indigenous tribes in central Arabia, and founded the kingdom around 480. In the early 6th century, it expanded its power by fighting with the Lahmites of Hira, but was destroyed by them around 529.
