…The middle period saw the appearance of white porcelain, blue and white porcelain, and iron sand porcelain, which were different from the earlier period, and lasted for about 100 years until the fuel shortage at the Guangzhou official kilns became a serious problem and they moved to Bunwon kilns. This period is represented by new white porcelain, and excellent pieces with a slight bluish tinge, known as snow white porcelain, were fired at the Guangzhou official kilns' Songjeong-ri and Geumsari kilns. Blue and white porcelain from the second half of the 17th century is still unclear, but it is assumed that excellent works with window paintings showing delicate brushwork were produced, probably following the autumn grass hand, which is said to be the quintessence of Yi Dynasty blue and white porcelain, in the first half of the 18th century. …
