Born: August 7, 1883 in Burzen
[Died] November 17, 1934. Berlin. German poet and painter. His real name was Hans Bötticher. Immediately after graduating from high school, he boarded a ship and traveled around the country, including overseas, working as many as 30 different jobs in between. After 1909, he made a living by reciting humorous, sad, and poignant improvised poems in cabarets in various cities, starting with Munich, and was also active as a painter. He is known for his poetry collections Turngedichte (1920) and Kuttel Daddeldu (20).

ドイツの詩人，画家。本名 Hans Bötticher。高校を終えるとすぐ船に乗込み，その合間に次々と 30種にも上る雑多な職業につきながら海外も含む各地を放浪した。 1909年以後はミュンヘンを皮切りに各都市のキャバレーで，おどけてもの悲しく辛辣な即興詩を朗読して生計を立て，同時に画家としても活躍した。『体操詩集』 Turngedichte (1920) ，『クッテル・ダッデルドゥー』 Kuttel Daddeldu (20) などの詩集が有名。
