〘名〙① =きりは(切羽)② 浄瑠璃の一段を、口(くち)、中(なか)、切(きり)と三つに分けた切をいう。口と中とを端場(はば)というのに対する。端場と切場とは、詞章、曲節、芸の上からそれぞれ大小、長短、軽重の格差をつける。
