...This book is a controversial response to questions from his relatives Ushichi and Robo about the theory of Kyo Rokusho in the newly published book on haiku theory, Hentsuki, which had been sent to him while he was staying in his hometown of Nagasaki. At the end of 1761 (the 11th year of the Horeki era), with a preface by Tokuraya Rihei and a postscript by Ryota, it was published under the name Kyorai Koto Mondo by Tokuraya Rihei in Edo. In 1778 (the 7th year of the An'ei era), with a preface by Shigeatsu and others, it was published under the name Tabineron by Izutsuya Shohei and others in Kyoto....
