Far North Small Stone Tool Tradition

...the Iyatayet site, located at Denbigh Point, which juts out into Norton Sound in western Alaska, was the site of a stone tool culture defined by J. L. Giddings. It is now considered an important component of the Far North Small Stone Tool Tradition (2300-1000 BC). Characteristic remains of this culture include microlith cores, microblades, burins, burin spalls, blade inserts, harpoon heads, and scrapers.
