Curved basin - Kyokukou basin

...basins are divided into three categories based on their origin. (1) Down (warped) basin: This is roughly the same as an intermontane basin. It is a basin formed by the ground curving downward (warping). The shape of this type of basin is controlled by the topography before the warping occurred (prototopography) and the type of warping.
