…It is believed that the northern and southern magistrates' offices compiled the book, and exchanged information between them to incorporate it into their articles, but the extant version is that of the southern magistrate's office, which initially had the magistrate Ooka Tadasuke compile the section up to 1725 by the yoriki Uesaka Masakata, and then added additional information up until 1736. After this, both magistrates' offices continued to compile the book by setting up a section called the senyokata, and in the Horeki era, the Kyoho Senyo Ruishu was completed, which was an expansion of the book up to 1753 (the third year of the Horeki era). After that, the Senyo Ruishu was compiled with the names of each era from Horeki to Ansei, except for the Koka era, but the remaining parts are largely lost, except for the Meiwa, An'ei, Tenmei, Tenpo, and Kaei eras.
