Sutra texts. ※Shoku Nihongi - Hōki Year 1 (770), July 1st Day of the Month: " Inspected by two schools, a scroll of sutras to be recited, and one monk and nun, and presented to them." ※Taike in Koyasan (early 13th century), Vol. 6: "When he saw smoke rising from the scroll of sutras (a scroll of sutras with statues of Buddha ) , his mind was broken and he fell ill."
