(Karl Gjellerup) Danish author. He started out as a naturalist, then moved closer to classicism, and later wrote works influenced by Buddhism. In 1917, he won the Nobel Prize in Literature together with Pontoppidan. His representative works include "Minna" and "Kamanita the Pilgrim."
