[School Holidays]
This refers to "days when classes are not held" at schools, and under current laws and regulations, these are called "holidays" (Enforcement Regulations of the School Education Act). Holidays at public schools, excluding universities, are defined as (1) days specified in the National Holidays Act (1948), (2) Sundays, and (3) days designated by the competent board of education in summer, winter, at the end of the school year, during busy farming seasons, etc. (Equivalent Enforcement Regulations).
