The Kokufu Festival (Konomachi), which is still held today, is held every year on May 5th, and the "Zadandou" Shinto ritual on Kamisoroyama has been designated an intangible folk cultural asset of the prefecture, and attracts people along with the Sagicho Festival on the night of January 14th at Kitahama Beach, the Busha Archery at Shiraiwa Shrine in March, and the Mifune Festival at Takaki Shrine in July.
