...The gestation period is about 225 days, and they usually give birth to two young. Their lifespan is about 7 years. There are three species of the tree hyrax genus, Dendrohyrax , found in sub-Saharan Africa. They are 40-60cm long, 1-3cm long, and weigh 1.5-4.5kg.
