Born October 19, 1898. Younger brother of Kinoshita Takanori. First selected for the Nikaten Exhibition in 1921. Participated in the Enchokai and 1930 Associations. Studied in France from 1928 to 1932. Founded the Issuikai in 1936. Received the Performing Arts Encouragement Prize in 1930. Also worked in ceramics. Professor at Tokyo Women's University of Art and Design. Died July 16, 1996. Age 97. Born in Tokyo. Graduated from Tokyo Higher Technical School (now Tokyo Institute of Technology).
