Silk River

...The river originates in the Kinunuma Marshland in northwestern Tochigi Prefecture, runs through the prefecture, and flows south through western Ibaraki Prefecture before joining the Tone River. It used to be called the Kenu River, and was also written as Kinu River or Kinu River. Its total drainage area of ​​1,760.6 km2 and main river length of 176.7 km make it the largest tributary of the Tone River.
