...The translation of the priest André's "Art of Love" (1290), which analyzed the various aspects of love, is thought to have functioned as a dogmatic book on the etiquette of love. Since I do not have the time to list the etiquette books of the Middle Ages in France, I will only add the 14th century books "Book for the Education of Young Knights" and "Book for the Education of the Daughter of the Knight La Tour-Landry" by Jaffrey de Charnier. I would like to point out that the above-mentioned etiquette books often played the role of contemporary satire in the Middle Ages, and that they prepared the way for B.
