Latreillia valida (English spelling)

...Its feeding habits and reproduction are unknown. The closely related Latreillia valida (illustration) is widely distributed up to the Indian Ocean and has red and white stripes on its claws and walking legs. Also, unlike the Latreillia valida, the phalanges of its last legs are simply claw-like, and the anterior segments are fringed with feathery hairs.
