Khanba Dynasty - Kānva

A dynasty in North India (c. 72 BCE to c. 28 CE). It was founded by Vasudeva, a minister of the Shunga dynasty, who overthrew the last king of the Shunga dynasty, which replaced the Maurya dynasty. According to the Puranas, it was overthrown by the Satavahana dynasty after 45 years of rule by four generations of kings, but the details are unknown. 北インドの王朝 (前 72頃～28頃) 。マウリヤ朝に代ったシュンガ朝の最後の王を倒し，その大臣のバスデーバ Vasudevaが建国。プラーナ文献によれば，4代の王が 45年間統治したのち，サータバーハナ朝に滅ぼされたといわれるが，詳細は不明。
