…A Chinese Ming dynasty literati. Born in Kunshan, Jiangsu. His courtesy name was Xifu, and he was called Zhenchuan Sensei. In 1565 (44th year of Jiajing), he became a Jinshi at the age of 60, and served as the prefect of Changxing County, the prefect of Shunde Prefecture, and the deputy head of the Nanjing Grand Master Temple. He loved the ancient writings of the Records of the Grand Historian, Han Yu, and Ouyang Xiu, and his Hua Shiguan Ji is an example of his fascination with the Records of the Grand Historian. The Later Seven Brothers were very influential in the literary world at the time, and he criticized the central figures of the group, Li Panlong and Wang Shizhen, as "great sons of delusion," and Wang Shizhen and others did not approve of his ancient writings. In his later years, Wang Shizhen composed the Praise of Returning to Grand Master, praising him as "a man who will succeed Han and Ouyang for a thousand years." …

…中国，明代の文人。江蘇崑山の人。字は熙甫，震川先生と称された。嘉靖44年(1565)60歳で進士となり，長興知県，順徳府通判，南京太僕寺丞を歴任。《史記》，韓愈，欧陽修の古文を好み，その〈花史館記〉は《史記》に心酔したことを示す一例。当時の文壇は後七子の勢力が強く，彼はその中心である李攀竜（りはんりゆう），王世貞らを〈妄庸の巨子〉と批判し，王世貞らも，彼の古文を認めなかった。王世貞は晩年に〈帰太僕賛〉を作り〈千載公有って韓･欧陽を継ぐ〉とほめた。…
