A type of new insurance. Insurance that compensates for damage caused by accidents (excluding fires) to machines, machinery equipment, and devices operating in factories, offices, buildings, warehouses, and other business establishments. The insurance covers everything from small motors to various machines, equipment, and devices, as well as large-scale plants. The insurance pays out the repair and replacement costs required to restore these machines to the operating condition they were in just before the damage occurred, but the amount of insurance must be contracted for the same amount as the price of acquiring a new machine of the same type and capacity as the machine that is the subject of the insurance (called the new procurement value, which includes all costs until it is installed in an operating condition).
