Also called Kan-mairi or Hadaka-mairi. Visiting a shrine or temple every night for 30 days in the cold season for faith or prayer. Wearing a white robe and a headband, this is done as an ascetic practice while ringing a bell. In Tokyo, Fudoson in Fukagawa is very popular.
