A Shingon Buddhist temple located on the right bank of the Egawa River in the eastern part of Gotsu City, Shimane Prefecture. The mountain name is Hoshozan, and the principal image is Kannon Bodhisattva. Originally a Hosso Buddhist temple founded during the Tenpyo period, it is said to have converted during the Daido period. It is famous for its weeping cherry tree, which is said to be 150 years old.
