The Shimokubo Dam is a reservoir located on the Kanna River, a Tone River basin, in an area that stretches from Fujioka City, Gunma Prefecture, to Kamikawa Town, Kodama County, Saitama Prefecture. The surrounding area is surrounded by the mountains of Chichibu-Tama National Park, and nearby is Sanbashi Gorge, a designated national scenic spot. 群馬県藤岡市から埼玉県児玉郡神川町にまたがる地区、利根川水系神流(かんな)川にある下久保ダムのダム湖。周辺には秩父多摩国立公園の山々が連なり、近郊には国の名勝に指定された三波石峡がある。2005年、財団法人水源地環境センターによりダム湖百選に選定された。
