In the case of electricity, in the differential form of Ohm's law i = σ E , which shows the relationship between current density i and electric field E , the electrical conductivity σ becomes infinite, and there is no electric field even inside where current is flowing. In this case, a perfect conductor is equipotential including the surface, and the current flows in and out perpendicular to the surface. In other words, a perfect conductor in a current field plays a role equivalent to a conductor in a static electric field.
