Nonsan - Ronsan

A city located at the southeastern end of Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea. It has an area of ​​615.53 square kilometers and a population of 137,157 (2000). It was elevated to city status in 1996. It is a distribution center for agricultural products from the Naepo Plain, which developed along the Nonsan River. Its specialty product is strawberries, which account for 13.7% of the country's total cultivated area. Other well-developed industries include rubber, brewing, and matches. There was once a canal connection to Gunsan (North Jeolla Province), and it became a transportation hub with the opening of the Honam Railway Line. There are two universities, eight high schools, and 15 middle schools in the city.

韓国（大韓民国）、忠清南道の南東端に位置する市。面積615.53平方キロメートル、人口13万7157（2000）。1996年に郡から市に昇格。論山川沿岸に発達した内浦平野の農産物集散地である。特産品はイチゴで、栽培面積は全国の13.7％である。そのほかにゴム、醸造、マッチ工業が発達している。かつては群山（全羅北道）まで河運の便があり、鉄道湖南線の開通とともに交通の要地になった。市内に大学2、高等学校8、中学校15がある。
