Kanze Motoshige

Japanese: 観世元重 - カンゼモトシゲ
Kanze Motoshige
[1398-1467] Noh actor of the early Muromachi period. The third (actually the fourth) of the Kanze school. Son of Zeami's younger brother. Otoami Onami Under the protection of Ashikaga Yoshinori and Yoshimasa, the school gained fame as the head of the Kanze school.
