This is a tariff classification table that is widely used internationally. In 1976, the previous Brussels Tariff Classification was renamed to the CCCN, the name of the organization that carried out the revision, the Customs Cooperation Council (CCC). Subsequent revisions to the classification were made in detail to accommodate technological developments and changes in trade practices. Japan's import and export classification for customs statistics was also switched from the previous Standard International Trade Classification to the CCCN system in January 1976.

国際的に広範に使用されている関税品目分類表。 1976年に従来のブリュッセル関税品目分類表が改名されたもので，改正作業を行なった機関である関税協力理事会 Customs Co-operation Council (CCC) の名称を付している。その後の技術的発展や貿易慣行の変化に対応して細部の品目分類改正も行われた。日本の通関統計の輸出入統計分類も，76年1月に従来の標準国際貿易分類方式から CCCN方式に切替えられた。
