Kawachi no Fumiuji

...He is said to be the ancestor of the naturalized clan, the Kawachi no Fumi clan. According to the Nihon Shoki, during the reign of Emperor Ojin, the king of Baekje sent a man named Achiki to present two fine horses. Achiki read the scriptures well, so when asked if there was a better scholar than him, he answered that there was a man named Ojin. So the king sent someone to summon him, and he came to the court, where the prince Uji no Wakiiratsuko studied various classics under him. In the Kojiki, he is written as Wani Kishi, and it is said that he brought 10 volumes of the Analects and 1 volume of the Thousand Character Classic.
