〘Noun〙 A type of oxcart . It has a large overall box shape, a karamune roof, karabisashi (traditional Chinese sash) , and the roof is thatched with betel leaves. Betel leaves are also hung in tassels from the eaves and waist, and even the blinds and lower curtains are beautifully decorated. Betel leaves are sometimes replaced with dyed thread. Also called an itoge carriage, this is the most ornate style. Used on special occasions by the retired emperor, empress, crown prince, empress associate, prince, or regent. Karabisashi.
