Torreya genus

...The seeds contain a lot of fatty oil in the endosperm, which can be used to make high-quality cooking oil and hair styling oil, and can also be used as food and medicine. There are two species of the Torreya genus in North America and three in mainland China, but their distribution is often limited. The seeds of Torreya grandis Fort. are edible like Torreya, and are also used medicinally.
