The language of the Munda people. Also known as Khor. It has about 7 million speakers, believed to be the descendants of the indigenous people of India, and is distributed throughout northern and central India. It is classified into eastern and western groups, with Santhali, which belongs to the former, being the most prevalent. It has no unique written language. → Austroasiatic language family
