Kamiwasa-so

...It is thought to have been established at the end of the Heian period, but the circumstances of its establishment are unclear. Around 1189 (Bun'ei 5), Shimowasa Manor was established with Tanaka Narikiyo, a shrine official at Iwashimizu Hachiman Shrine, as its lord and Koyasan Zuishin-in as its head temple, so it is sometimes called Kamiwasa Manor (Wasa Kami Manor) to distinguish it from Shimowasa Manor. The lordship of Shimomura and Minamimura (Mitamura) of this manor was held by Kankiji Temple, and there was also a Senju name within the manor, which is thought to have been the name of a local government office, but other ownership relationships are unclear....
