A player of the Ichisekigiri shakuhachi in the late Edo period. He went by the name Isshian Fugaku. His main occupation was a local doctor in Edo. In order to revive the Ichisekigiri shakuhachi, which had almost disappeared at the time, he renamed it Kotake and released many new pieces of his own composition, as well as ensemble pieces with the koto and shamisen, in addition to the repertoire of the Sashida school up until that point. He also added new ideas to the notation method and published many scores and explanatory books. He called himself the 13th head of the Sashida school Ichisekigiri and worked with his disciple Ino Ichiun to popularize the style, so that until around the Tenpo era, it was played by some enthusiasts, but it did not revive and it completely died out after that. <Works> "Itochiku Kokinshu", "Itochiku Onko Daizen", "Take no Nebun", "Itochiku Goshikigai", "Junijoshi Meigiko", "Take no Niohi"
