...The high-density liquid used in the test is called a heavy liquid (heavy liquid sorting). The results of the float-sink analysis are displayed in a graph called a washability curve. The procedure for float-sink tests on coal and how to plot the washability curve are specified and explained in JIS M8801 Testing methods for coals.
