Kashirik - Kashirik

...At the end of the 15th century, Ibak of the Shayban family, descended from Jochi, formed an alliance with the Taybuga family, which had ruled the middle and lower reaches of the Irtysh and Tobol rivers in Western Siberia since the 13th century, and eventually gained real power in the region. With its capital at Kashlik (Sibir, Isker, 17 km upstream from Tobolsk) on the Irtysh River, it bordered the Kazan Khanate to the west and the Kazakh Khanate to the south, and its specialty furs were exported to Central Asia.
