Toshimitsu Omiya

Comedy actor. His real name was Toshio Tsunekawa, and his previous name was Toshimitsu. He started out as a tap dance teacher and formed a musical drama troupe at the age of 24, but it failed. He then started his own successful "Densuke Plays," which he wrote and performed himself, with the widower "Kimura Densuke" as the main character. He gained popularity mainly at the Shochiku Engei Hall in Asakusa, and became famous nationwide through television. In 1973 (Showa 48), he disbanded his troupe. His pen name was Kototoi Sanpei. His own book is "Asakusa Laughing and Tears Life" (1974).

喜劇俳優。本名恒川(つねかわ)登志夫、前名敏光。タップダンスの教師を振り出しに24歳で楽劇の一座を結成したが失敗、その後、男やもめの「木村デン助」を主人公にした自作自演の「デン助劇」を始めて成功。主として浅草の松竹演芸場を根城に人気を集め、テレビを通じて全国的に有名になった。1973年（昭和48）一座を解散した。筆名は言問(こととい)三平。自著に『浅草泣き笑い人生』（1974）がある。
