Soa
?-? A Japanese envoy sent to Ming China during the Muromachi period.
He was a member of the Doboshu (communist group) of the Muromachi Shogunate, and was the chief envoy of the first ship sent to Ming China by Ashikaga Yoshimitsu in 1401. The deputy envoy was the Hakata merchant Koitomi, who had encouraged the dispatch. He returned to Japan the following year with the Ming envoys Tenrin Doi and Ichian Ichijo. He later served as a master of linked verse.

室町幕府の同朋衆(どうぼうしゅう)で,応永8年(1401)足利義満(よしみつ)による第1回遣明船の正使。副使は派遣をすすめた博多商人肥富(こいつみ)。翌年明使天倫道彝(てんりん-どうい),一庵一如(いちあん-いちじょ)と帰国。のち連歌宗匠職をつとめた。
