Burn shock death - kashoshokushi

...Toxic shock death occurs when a person is poisoned by drugs or poisons, when infected with diphtheria or tetanus, when poisoned by bacterial toxins in cases of sepsis, or when bitten by a poisonous snake such as a viper or a habu. Other types of shock death include traumatic shock death, anesthesia shock death, surgical shock death, childbirth shock death, and burn shock death. Most traumatic shock deaths that occur immediately after injury are neurological shock deaths caused by pain, but in cases of traffic accidents, fights, and child abuse, people may suffer injuries all over their body and go into shock and die within a few hours to a day.
