Cashmere

Cashmere
(Cashmilon) A play on the word "cashmere." A trademark of an acrylonitrile synthetic fiber made in Japan. It has a texture similar to cashmere, is light and has good heat retention, and is used for clothing and underwear. *From Nagareku Garagae-shi (1965) by Makoto Urabe, "Acrylics are Kanebo's Kanecaron and Asahi Kasei's Cashmilon."
